Cheese Farm

France is famous for its cuisine and this excursion offers students a chance to add one of the countries most famous foods to their French School Trip experience.

Groups tour the farm, see the goats and discover, in French, how cheese is made from the curdling of the rennet to the maturing/cold room. Then sample the different types of cheese and meet the goats. An excellent opportunity to practice their French comprehension!

Our Advice

This excursion appeals to all age ranges as the cheese farm is situated within beautiful grounds ideal for a picnic lunch!

The children have the opportunity to taste the cheese after they have seen the stages of production, however meeting and petting the goats always seems to be a favourite part of the experience.

As the tour is conducted entirely in French this excursion is highly recommended for the reportage groups.
